What are you looking forward to this service term?
I am most looking forward to working with and learning from the team at the Legal Council for Health Justice to serve justice-involved persons living with disabling mental illness, and learning from other individuals with whom I will work.  I am looking forward to gaining new skills and knowledge, and supporting my fellow residents of Cook County in ensuring greater health, dignity, and stability through aid in accessing benefits and resources.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps service?
My career goals include working in a position where I serve others while making tangible impacts, including engaging in actions that address the root causes of inequality and health disruptions.
