The NHC has programs in four operating sites: Chicago, North Florida, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. All of our programs share a common mission, program components, performance measures, standards, and policies. Each program is unique, however, thanks to geography, local operating and host sites and community needs. The individual programs conduct their own applications, interviews, and selection processes. In order to apply to be a NHC member, prospective members should apply via the AmeriCorps recruitment website. Prospective members should submit an application to each individual NHC program that they are interested in (e.g. North Florida, Chicago, Philadelphia and/or Pittsburgh).
